Megan & DY’s Wedding Pictures

I’m usually reluctant to do photography at Korean weddings because they tend to be quite impersonal. If you’ve been to Korean weddings, you probably know what I mean. It’s also quite challenging as a photographer since most weddings are done in wedding halls with horrible lighting setups. That’s why I was a bit reluctant when Megan initially contacted me about taking her Korean wedding pictures. However, when I met Megan and she told me she was not looking for the typical Korean wedding ceremony pictures, I was excited to be a part of all her untypical wedding ideas. A Korean groom in a sexy red suit? A bride without a flamboyant, white wedding dress? Graffiti walls with heart-shaped sunglasses in random Korean alleys? What more could I ask for! And when the day finally arrived, it was definitely one of my most enjoyable shoots of the year. Megan & DY – Thanks for letting me be a part of your Korean but not-so-Korean wedding!
